About Me

Guten Morgen! My name is Yassin Ouali, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Physics and am a visiting student at EPFL. Born in Berlin, I completed my Bachelor’s studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where my passion for theoretical solid state physics took shape.

My academic interests lie in exploring strongly correlated many-body systems using quantum field theory methods—a field that continues to fascinate me with its depth and complexity. You can find more about my research and academic journey on the physics tab.

Beyond the world of equations and models, I believe in balancing the mind with an active body. I enjoy sailing on lake Geneva, partner dancing organized by student associations, and pushing my limits with road biking into the mountains. And when the road ends, I often take to the rocks, climbing via ferratas with friends.
